If you only edit the dhcpd.conf file, it really will not create the .bak file, you can try click save in the UI - Virtual Network Editor, then the dhcpd.conf will change to the default and generate a .bak file to save your edit. This is the same in WS9.0.2 GA. I wonder what exactly operation of you to change dhcpd.conf to the default ?
